About Us
Twin sisters Lisa and Lauren were born and raised in Hawaii, on the island of Oahu. Their island roots have been an inspiration throughout their lives, which is shown in a variety of ways on the food and drink menu at the Hook & Plow.
After leaving Hawaii for college, the two graduated with bachelor's degrees in marketing & finance from Lindenwood University in St.Charles, MO.
Upon graduating, the two moved to the West Coast to be closer to family. They lived in the beach community of Hermosa Beach, CA for 15 years, and that's where the first Hook & Plow was born in 2014.
The twins have been coming to Bend since they were kids in the 80's when the family purchased a home here. Many memories made, and many great moments in this community over the years, lead them moving here full time in 2020 and opening the Fold Craft pizza + Kitchen in Sunriver OR.
Opening the Hook & Plow restaurants has been the greatest accomplishment of their careers, and now sharing this restaurant experience with the community of Bend is a dream come true.
